Sixth Grade Supply List
2008- 2009

  Sixth Grade Homeroom Teachers:
  Barbara Estes, DeAnn Humber, and TBA

Below is a list of supplies/fees that each student will need to bring to their assigned homeroom teacher.  Please have these items separated from other classroom supplies. There will be a designated spot in each homeroom class for students to place these items. 
It is not necessary to put student’s name on these items.

  • 2 reams of white copier paper
  • 1 box of tissue
  • 1 roll of paper towels
  • 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
  • 1 box of wet wipes or Clorox wipes 
  • 1 box of colored pencils
  • glue sticks
  • 1 pkg. of loose leaf paper









This year sixth grade classes are divided into seven periods; therefore, students will have several different teachers.  The supply list below list items needed for each class.

Science – Mrs. Hollis
  • One (1) five-subject/plastic cover spiral notebook
  • One (1) one-subject/plastic cover spiral notebook
  • Highlighters (at least two different colors)

Social Studies – Mrs. Estes
  • One(1) five-subject/plastic cover spiral notebook

Language Arts  – Mrs. Ross
  • One (1) five-subject notebook
  • One (1) folder with pockets,  prongs, and paper
  • One (1) pkg. of  4 x 6 index cards

Reading -Mrs. Ross/Mrs. Humber
  • One (1) one subject notebook

Math – Mrs. Humber
  • One (1) 1 ½ to 2 inch sturdy binder
  • (Binders must include: paper, pencil pouch, plenty of pencils, two large pink erasers , and a one-subject notebook)
  • Dry erase markers for students’ whiteboards
  • One (1) clear protractor (nothing fancy)
  • One (1) pkg. of 4 x 6 index cards
  • One (1) clipboard (one that can easily fit inside a desk)

** Students must have pencils and/or pens for each class; however, pencils only in math class.

NOTE:  The one-subject and five-subject spiral notebooks will be available to purchase at school while supplies last.

*This supply list does not include supplies for  any elective class or science lab.   Further information regarding these classes will be sent  home on a later date.
